DSPE PEG-Biotin (phospholipid polyethylene glycol biotin)

DSPE PEG-Biotin (phospholipid polyethylene glycol biotin) is a linear heterobifunctional peg reagent with DSPE phospholipids and biotin. It is a useful self-assembly reagent for preparing grafted or PEGylated liposomes or cells, and also provides biotin groups for binding to avidin protein peroxidase. It is usually used for targeted drug delivery with lipid bilayers to improve drug solubility, PEG provides stealth properties, prolongs circulating half-life and reduces non-specific protein binding cell adhesion, and biotin group non covalently binds targeted molecules, including antibodies, aptamers, proteins and peptides.
