Describe The Types Of Chemical Raw Materials And Precautions For Transportation

Inorganic chemical raw materials the main raw materials of inorganic chemical products are chemical minerals such as sulfur, sodium, phosphorus, potassium, calcium (see inorganic salt industry) and coal, oil, natural gas, air, water, etc. In addition, by-products and wastes from many industrial sectors are also raw materials for inorganic chemical industry, such as coke oven gas in the coking production process in the iron and steel industry, in which ammonia can be recycled into ammonium sulfate with sulfuric acid, and sulfur dioxide in the smelting waste gas of chalcopyrite, galena and sphalerite can be used to produce sulfuric acid.

Dangerous goods are generally raw materials, intermediates and products of the chemical industry. The transportation method is mainly selected according to the physical and chemical properties of relevant products. If a production, trade or logistics enterprise needs to transport dangerous goods, it must first have the MSDS (material data safety sheet) of the product. The products are divided into three states: solid, liquid and gas, and the solid is generally transported only by railcars.

Gaseous products can only be stored in pressure cylinders or pressure tanks, and liquid products can be transported flexibly. Because it has a great relationship with temperature, there are the following options for its transportation: generally, the products with high viscosity are transported in barrels and then transported in railcars or heat preservation and heating tank cars; Chemicals with viscosity close to water, low steam pressure and no corrosion are transported by ordinary atmospheric tank trucks; Corrosive products can be transported by stainless steel tanker.
